Historical Account & Miracle Chronicle
On December 25, 2013, at the Church of Saint Hyacinth in Legnica, Poland, a Host fell on the floor during the distribution of Holy Communion. In accordance with church rubrics, the priest picked it up and placed it in a container with water. Shortly afterward, red discolorations appeared. In January 2014, the Bishop formed a special commission to study the phenomenon. Samples were sent to the Department of Forensic Medicine in Szczecin and Wrocław.
